    What to Expect

    • Upon your arrival in Delhi, our tour representative will meet you and assist you in smooth transfer to Rishikesh via road.
    • Upon arrival in Rishikesh, check in at the hotel. The evening is free to relax and briefing.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    • Rishikesh:
      The birthplace of Yoga, Rishikesh is located 24 kilometers away from HarIdwar. It is a place where pilgrims come to meditate, do yoga and learn about other aspects of Hinduism. There are many ancient and newly built temples along the river Ganges. The whole town is consIdered to be sacred and it is saId that meditation here leads to salvation.

    • After morning breakfast, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Rishikesh which includes Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Swarg Ashram.
    • Later, drive to Barkot via Mussoorie. On the way, visit Kempty Falls and reach Barkot by late evening.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    • After morning breakfast, proceed to Yamunotri and later move up to Jankichatti.
    • Enjoy a 6 km trek to Yamunotri. Here, one can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the Kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as “Prasad”.
    • Nearby the temple, Pooja can be offered to Divya Shila after taking a bath in Jamunabai Kund and offering prayers to Yamunaji.
    • Later, return to Barkot. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    • Yamunotri:
    • The source of the river Yamuna and the seat of the river goddess, Yamunotri is situated at an altitude of 3,293 meters in the Garhwal Himalayas.
    • It originates from the Champasar Glacier, located 1 kilometer ahead of the shrine. Yamunotri was the home of an ancient sage, ‘Asit Muni’.
    • The goddess Yamuna is the daughter of the Sun, and Yama is the brother of the river goddess. It is believed that taking a dip in the holy waters of Yamuna provides blessings.
    • Surya Kund: Surya Kund is a hot water spring containing sulfur, known for its healing properties.
    • Divya Shila: Divya Shila is a rock pillar worshipped before entering the Yamunotri temple.
    • Travel to Gangotri, take a holy dip in the river, and visit the temple.

    • Post breakfast, leave by road for Uttarkashi. Later, drive to Harsil.
    • The evening is free for leisure and exploring local attractions.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    • After breakfast, take a road trip to Gangotri. After praying at the temple, have Pooja & Darshan at Gangotri temple.
    • Later, return back to Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

    • Gangotri:
      Located in the 18th century, Gangotri is dedicated to Hindu goddess ‘Ganga’. It is located near a sacred stone where Bhagirath worshipped Lord Shiva and asked to hold Ganga in his matted locks. The temple is a beautiful 20 feet high structure made up of white granite. This is the perfect place to reconnect with you. The Gangotri temple dedicated to the goddess remains open from May to November.

    • Post breakfast, leave by road for Guptkashi. En route, see the heritage city of Tehri submerged into the mighty waters of the holy river Ganges.
    • Later in the evening, you’ll have to reach Guptkashi.
    • Dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.

    • Guptkashi:
      Located in the northern Himalayan belt within the Mandakini river valley, which houses lush green forests, Guptkashi is famous for the Vishwanath temple- dedicated to Lord Shiva.

    • Post breakfast, take a road trip up to Helipad as per the reporting time.
    • Complete the boarding formalities and wait here for your time slot.
    • Upon arrival at Kedarnath, perform early Pooja & Darshan at the temple. Later, return back to Helipad and take a return flight to Guptkashi, before you drive back to Rudraprayag.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    • Kedarnath Temple:
      Built in the 8th century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya, the Kedarnath Temple is located adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. As the name suggests, the temple is dedicated to the shrine of Kedar. Kedarnath is one of the four holy places that cover the famous Char Dham Yatra. It is believed to be one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. The temple is believed to be over 1000 years old.

    • Post breakfast, take a road trip to Badrinath. On the way, visit Narsingh Temple and Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi at Joshimath.
    • Later, drive to Badrinath and do Pooja & Darshan at the temple.
    • Thereafter, visit the famous tourist sites in Badrinath such as Vyas Cave, Ganesh Cave, Bhim Bridge, and the origin of River Saraswati at Mana Village, the last village before entering the Tibetan border.
    • Later, visit the temple for holy Darshan/Pooja and attend evening Aarti.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    • Badrinath Temple:
      One of the holiest temples in Uttarakhand, Badrinath is nestled between the twin mountain ranges - Nar and Narayan. Badrinath Temple is also known as Badrinarayan temple because it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu’s form of Badrinarayan. The temple is supposed to have been built by the 8th century saint ‘Adi Shankracharya’, the great scholar and philosopher. The original temple was destroyed in a landslIde. The present temple is believed to have been built by the Garhwal kings in the 17th century.
      Narad Kund:
      Narad Kund is one of the most revered centers in Badrinath. It is a holy site from where Adi Sankara recovered the Idol of Lord Vishnu.
      Brahma Kapal:
      It is a flat platform located on the banks of the Alaknanda River, where Lord Brahma is believed to resIde. The devotees pay homage and rituals to the departed souls.
      Sheshnetra:
      Located on the opposite bank of the river, Sheshnetra is a place where the eye of the serpent lord ‘Shesha’ on which Vishnu rests, is seen on a rock.
      Mana Village:
      Mana Village is a quaint tiny hamlet located on the Indo-Tibetan border. The village is now declared as a tourism village of India.
      Bhim Pul:
      It is an attractive rock brIdge in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Just 4 kms away from Mana Village, this natural brIdge lies over the roaring Saraswati River.
      Vyas Gufa (Cave):
      Located at a distance of 3 kilometers away from Badrinath temple, Vyas Gufa is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the Puranic commentaries.

    • In the morning, after Mahaabhishek, go for Pooja and Darshan.
    • Post breakfast, leave by road for Srinagar.
    • On the way, visit Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karnprayag, and Rudraprayag.
    • Later, take a road trip to Srinagar.
    • Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    • Post breakfast, leave by road for Haridwar.
    • On the way, visit Devprayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River.
    • In the afternoon, you will arrive in Haridwar. Later, check into the hotel and get relaxed.
    • Visit the famous places such as Mansa Devi and Chandi Devi Temples.
    • In the evening, attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Har ki Pauri. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

    • Haridwar:
      Located at the feet of Shiva’s hills ‘Shivaliks’, HarIdwar is located in the HarIdwar district of Uttarakhand. It is one of the 7 holiest Hindu cities in India. Apart from being a famous tourist destination in India, HarIdwar is also famous among the people as being the location of Kumbh Mela. The lighted diyas floating on the river Ganges creates a spectacular sight. The town is dotted with innumerable temples and other religious places.

    • Post breakfast, leave by road for Delhi.
    • On reaching Delhi, drop at the railway station for onward journey.
