      • Drive the taxi to Manali, passing through an important junction on the salt route to Tibet.
      • Mandi is the gateway to the Kullu valley. Moving via Mandi, tourists will see the impressive Pandoh Dam that diverts water from the Beas River through two 12 km tunnels to Baggi. The beautiful view of the mountains can be enjoyed while moving through the Sainj valley.
      • On the way to Manali, there are interesting sights along both sides of the 42 km valley, such as the Vaishno Devi Temple – a small cave temple dedicated to Vaishno Devi.
      • Other interesting places to explore include Katrain, Patlikuhl, Nagar, and Roerich Gallery.

      • Drive the taxi toward Leh, after the local sightseeing of Manali.
      • At the northern end of the Kullu Valley lies the main resort in the area. It is beautifully situated, offering many pleasant walks around the town, along with a large number of hotels and restaurants.

      • The tough journey will begin toward Leh, with Darcha being the major tent site on this road.
      • The next move is to Baralachala, which stands at 4883 meters, known as the crossroads pass.
      • After this pass, tourists enter another tent site called Sarchu.
      • The journey becomes more adventurous and interesting while passing Lachlung La (5060 meters), the second highest pass on the Manali-Leh road.
      • The next destination is Pang, just after tourists pass Taglang La, the second highest motorable road in the world, at 5328 meters.
      • On the descent, tourists enter the Ladakh region, and the first village is Upshi, where one can enjoy the beautiful landscape and magnificent valley views.

      • In the morning, visit the Hemis monastery (Travelers have the option to visit either of the Lakes).
      • Hemis Monastery: This is the biggest and most important monastery in Ladakh (It’s situated 49 kms to the south of Leh), a little off the main Leh-Manali road. It was built in the 17th century by Chapgon Gyalshas and has enjoyed the patronage of the royal family ever since.
      • Hemis is the headquarters of the Drukpa order, and all the monasteries throughout Ladakh are administered by it. It also trains Lamas for the royal monasteries at Leh, Shey, and Bazgo.
      • In the 19th century, it faced a siege by General Zorawar Singh. The Gompa was saved due to the skillful handling of the situation by the head Lama.

      • On the way back, sightseeing of Thiksey and Shey palace.
      • On Day 7, complete rest in the hotel in Leh.

      • Explore Leh Market, Leh Palace, and Sankar Gompa.
      • The women’s vegetable market in the afternoon and some interesting places to visit.
      • And in the evening, The Sankar monastery.

      • The tourists will visit the Khardung-la. It takes you to the highest motorable road in the world, Khardungla (18,380 feet or 5,578 m).
      • Nubra Valley lies in the north of Leh. Apart from unparalleled trekking opportunities, the valley has several Buddhist monasteries such as Sumor, Tigar, and the 350 years old Diskit monastery.

      • On the 10th day, the whole day is dedicated to shopping and exploring interesting things about Ladakhi art and culture by visiting the Tibetan refugees camp in Choklamsar, the Library, and Ecological Development, etc.

      • Local sightseeing Leh to Lamayuru, Likir & Alchi and halt for the night at Lamayuru.
      • Whole day is dedicated to local sightseeing.

      • On Day 12, the caravan moves towards Kargil, passing through the following places:

      • Drive the taxi toward Srinagar, passing through Zoji-la and picturesque Sonamarg, entering the Kashmir Valley.

      • Dal Lake: Much of Dal Lake is a maze of intricate waterways rather than a simple body of open water. The lake is divided into Gagribal, Lokut Dal, and Bod Dal by a series of causeways. Dal Gate, at the city end of the lake, controls the flow of the lake water into the Jhelum River canal.

      • Travel from Srinagar to Jammu, passing through the scenic hill resorts of Batote, Panitop, and Kud.
      • Continue towards Jammu and pass through the 3 km long Jawahar Tunnel.
      • Overnight stay in Jammu city.

      • Final day of the discovery trip and the farewell will be given at Karnal.
      • Arrive in Delhi and proceed with your onward journey.
